The friendly service made our stay stress-free, but the room location by the entrance was a bit noisy at times. I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were fantastic, spacious, clean, and the bed was really comfortable, but they lacked privacy for the windows and were freezing cold at times. The bathroom was modern, which was a nice contrast to the antique style of the room.

My stay at the Rivendell was a mix of coziness and noise. The room was huge and cozy with a lovely fireplace, but the sash windows let in a lot of road noise. The location was great for easy access to roads going out of town, next to a cycle path perfect for morning runs. Service was a bit lacking with no onsite staff during check-in, but the breakfast was ample. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few hiccups.
